holy cows long time no see!

sorry that its been ages! life is just way to busy lately! in between working my jobs and getting ready to move life is hectic. but i did have an afternoon off today and took some pictures in a greenhouse thing:)

so lately i've really been liking how repeating patterns look. and for some reason i liked how all these empty chairs looked. kind of a strange thing to take a picture of but o well:) i really like how taking a picture every day makes me actually look around at my surroundings and find something beautiful/interesting/eye catching. it's good to take time to pause and soak in what's around me. i highly suggest everyone takes time at least once a day to just pause and reflect on what's around you:)

so sorry if i can't post for a while! my computer's powercord is broken so i've been using battery power for a couple days. unfortunately though my battery is almost completely drained and my new power cord hasn't arrived yet. but when it comes i promise i'll upload my pictures!

it has been a bad day. so i went down to sioux city to do some errands and my car decides it wants to either stall or jerk forward all of a sudden anytime i stop at  a light. so bc of me; i almost cause three accidents and i feel so terrible about it. as soon as i got back to orange city i drove it straight to the mechanic. hopefully they can fix it tomorrow and won't cost be a fourtune. :( so as a way to deal with my stress, i have been playing with water colours all day. its fairly relaxing and soothing. good way to deal with stress:)

awesome day! someone i work with gets all these free designer perfumes. and since she doesn't need so many she gave me a ton (!) of them! i am super excited. i sometimes would rather just get a sample or travel size perfume bc i never stick with just one perfume. honest. i've never had a "signature" scent. it just always changes. so woot! i will have a lot of different scents to pick from for a while:)

so i was having a cleaning frenzy today and found these little candles in the top of my cabinet. and best yet they still have a scent after around a year of just sitting up there.

sorry i didn't post yesterday! anyways. yesterday i finally got my first order from birch box and holy cows i'm in love:) fyi birchbox is this site where for $10 bucks a month you get little beauty samples. great for those of us that don't like to commit to a huge bottle if we've never tried it before. for more info go to birchbox.com. ok so the last picture is my little red bag:) it's so bright and fun. especially since most of my clothes are black or very neutral. i'm slowly learning that colour is a good thing to wear:p hope you guys are all having amazing day:)

love these hiking boots by charlotte russe:) good way to try out the season's (ok last season's...) trend without spending a crazy amount. and they are so super comfy! if you've never tried their high heels, you've gotta give them a try.

i always think that the insides of peppers look weird. just the little bundles of seeds look so ...gross? i don't know why but things like that i find a little gross. like dried out cracks on a gravel road; they look weird when you actually look at them. very random stuff bothers me.

my new bag:) it's basically a wanna be alexa bag (by mulberry...) and yes i know that it's not a good thing to buy fakes and i hardly ever do buy fakes. but i wasn't 100% with it when i bought it...:( but it is very pretty and i love it:)

left waaay to early for work today and had some time to kill, so i grabbed a cup of coffee at the coffee shop. i also had a couple of 8th grade boys look at me like i was crazy for taking pictures of a light:p meh. o well.

yay. more snow. i'm so excited. (please note the sarcasm in those last comments..) ok so while yes, i am sick of snow, i do have to admit that it was really beautiful looking today. for once there was no wind so the snow was just softly falling.  and i just realized how to make the pictures bigger. :) yay!

spent the whole day today COMPLETELY revamping the apartment:) it looks way nicer now:)  hopefully tomorrow i'll have time to paint a design on my little yellow coffee table(not pictured). hope everyone is enjoying their sunday!
